R.I.P Tiny
So somehow in a course of three days I became a surrogate mother to three kittens. I worry if they are warm enough, if they ate, if they are getting enough liquid, I miss them when I'm away. ACCK! Our house is a freaking kitty compound right now.
I have no idea how or why it happened, but they were brought into our house and I became instantaneously attached. Is my biological clock ticking? um yeah. In a bad way. These freaking kittens are the holding the clock in it's place. They are just so freaking cute it's killing me!
However, one of the kittens that we got was a runt and did not make it through the weekend. His name was Tiny. He squealed and cried for the most of the time we had him. I suspect he was sick when we got him, and there wasn't much we could do.
Below is Tiny's brother and sister. The Black cat is Bruce and the Orange one is Sweet Pea. These faces kill me every time I look at them. They are so fun to come home too.

Dance Glow
I had a really great time at dance class last night. Just an hour before the lazy started to take over, but I'm glad that my friend Gemma motivated me to go. I went to Allan's class at Dance Mission in San Francisco. He had this sassy with a touch of Ghetto steez that just made remember the old days. I've danced with some dope ass people, and I miss them. They were inspiring and dedicated.
There was a time in my life when I considered making dancing into a career, but I just don't have the chops for it. Stage fright is a bitch :(
Every time I dance I come home with this glow. It's a choice rather than a chore to dance now, and it's liberating. I dance better when I'm happy and confident. I'm not auditioning for a spot in the next gig anymore, so it just feels great to go back and have fun.
To the great dancers from my dance past. Miss you. You taught me to be fierce. LOL.

Day in the Life of Me and Aivy on Gchat:
me: im giving u a shout out in my next blog entry
Aivy: LOOLOLOL for what, all the online fashion crack i just sent you?
me: yeah hahahaha
Me and my girl Aivey. I love this girl. Lets just say we talk a lot, but I'm not going to give the coordinates or the time that we talk. HEHE. She's always a great fashion reference and she gave me this link to this cute blog. I'm been tired of style blogs showing rich coked out Hollywood starlets. This website is a huge Global lookbook of regular and fashionable. It's sorta like lookbook.nu, but with more girls and it's pretty easy to join if you want to show off your fashion.

Modedness Caught in time.
I want to a give a shout out to Revlon for Creating Espresso Lipliner circa 1995.
Oh man those sneaker heels. This was when I used to steal my makeup from Walgreens. I guess you can't check the color of your foundation when you're shoplifting.
MODED! But Oh so much fun we all had.
Back In the day when I was young I'm not a kid anymore...........but some days.

27... Panic... Jump
He didn't tell me how to live; he lived, and let me watch him do it.
Saturday morning on the way to Hayward. It hit me. Damn it I never thought past 25. Why didn't I plan for after 25? There's not enough time! Kids? What they will look like. I hope I have a husband. I'm not following the plan. The preteen time line is not happening. According to my preteen timeline I was supposed to get married two years ago. Great planning 12 year old Christina! I didn't account for love's cruel punishment.
Ever since I turned 25 the desire to become a parent has grown stronger. tick. tick tick.
It happened randomly as I was driving. It's all probably connected to the fact that I was driving to my girl's baby shower. Then out of nowhere. It was like accidentally walking into a glass door. I'm going to be 27. Not married. Not getting any closer to it. Will it happen? No kids in the near future. When will it happen. Is it going to happen. Thoughts race. Imagine me asking the truth. I hear something that's not good. Breathe. Breathe. Tears.
Whatever. Having a kid right now would definitely cut into my shopping time. Don't need no little bootch Jr's. running around anytime soon. When I'm ready. I'll be waiting for you. Bootch Jr.

Student Fashion #3 Juicy
Reppin Cambodia!!!!!! Juicy.
This girl walks into school looking like this EVERY DAY. Fully curled hair with intense clothes and makeup. Juicy represents fearlessness to me. I've enjoyed her beauty and humor from the first day she walked into my office. Super model diva.
She's and aspiring hair stylist. If you take a look at this girls hair. You'll see how talented she is.

Patrick Caufield
If I could own an art gallery it would only contain his work.
The first time I saw his art was at the Tate Modern museum in London. I came across this print and was instantly fascinated. Mostly popular in the UK he broke out in the 1960's being mainly associated with the Pop Art Movement. Andy Warhol will always stand the test of time, and I am sad that Caufield is often overlooked.
The color grabbed instantly. Who knew that a lonely bowl of fruit could evoke sadness? Yes I know I'm emo, but at least I like art with color, and it is Caufield's use of color and simplicity that has kept me a fan. To me his work trancends time. Sadly Caufield died in 2005, but I wish like him I could look at every day things with such color and clarity. Scratch your head on that one.
Below are my favorites. Hopefully I will have that art gallery one day.

Room Project: Hats
Since the era of short hair. I've acquired a lot of hats and I've treated them like shit. Since I've redesigned my room I found a way to better take care of them and make them into decoration pieces at the same time.
So instead of buying hat hooks, I simply pounded small nails half way into the wall so that they are stable enough to hold the hats. The stickers under the hats are from French Connection. Every time you buy something they wrap your stuff and hold it together with these stickers. I went back to the store and asked for more. I wanted to create the affect of making it look like the stickers were wearing the hats. Not sure on how well it worked. Art Functionality. I'm About it.
